Lasst die Spiele beginnen!
Die erste Station der German Open 2015 findet vom 03. bis 05. Juli in Willingen (Upland) statt. In den beiden Disziplinen Downhill & Boarder-X gilt es wertvolle Punkte für die Gesamtwertung zu sammeln – auch wenn die jeweiligen Sieger der ersten Station natürlich auch nicht mit leeren Händen nach Hause fahren werden.
Im Downhill haben alle Boarder einen gemeinsamen Gegner – die Zeit. Auf dem anspruchsvollen Kurs in Willingen heißt es alle Wellen, Kurven und Unebenheiten der Strecke ideal zu meistern und aus zwei Läufen die bestmögliche Zeit zu erreichen.
Danach geht es direkt mit der nächsten Disziplin Boarder-X weiter! Nach einer kurzen Qualifikationsrunde fahren hier jeweils zwei Boarder im KO-System gegeneinander. Dann heißt es nur nicht nur schnell zu sein, sondern auch taktisch den Kontrahenten immer im Blick zu haben – denn nur der jeweilige Gewinner in die nächste Runde!
Die zweite Station findet dann übrigens zusammen mit den
Volksbank Backnang World Mountainboard Boardercross Championship 2015 vom 11. bis zum 12. September in Großerlach statt.
Let the games begin!
The first station of this years German Open 2015 will take place in Willingen (Upland) from the 3. – 5. July. Every rider got the chance to collect important points for the overall title of the German champion participating in the disciplines Downhill & Boarder-X – at least when she/he got a german passport in his pocket.
Starting with the Downhill all participants race against the same opponent – the time. The ambitious track in Willingen will challenge every rider with a lot of waves, corners and rough terrain to catch the best possible time in the end.
Right afterwards two boarders will race against each others head-to-head in the Boarder-X discipline. Even when speed is necessary as well, another component is a watching eye in the direction of the opponent – a good tactic is the key!
All other riders are fighting for the title of the German Open in each discipline of both stations. The overall winner of this station can be sure to bring some nice prices back home!
The second station of the German Open will take place together with the Volksbank Backnang World Mountainboard Boardercross Championship 2015 from the 11. – 12. September.
